A fish tank in the shape of a rectangular prosm is being filled at the rate of 1/3 gallon per minute. If the dimensions of the tank are 12 in. wide by 36 in. long by 20 in. high, how long will it take for the tank to be filled?
1 gallon [US, liquid] = 231 cubic inch
12×36x20=8640
8640/231=37.4025974 so 37.4 gallons of water
37.4/.33=112.211221
so round to 112
