55 Gallon Fish Tank Hood With Light

I ‘might’ get an oscar?
I found this really good deal on a 55 gallon tank with stand hood and light, im only missing decor and fish…and 25$ more bucks to get the tank.
But thats not the point.
The point is, is 55 really a good size for an oscar. I know it is the bear minimum, but I would hate to put it in a tank that is to small ya know?
I would only get one Oscar, nothing else.
So, can anyone provide me with pix of an Oscar tank(No idea how to decorate without plants lol!)
tnx!
Kristen
Minimum for 1 oscar is a 55.
Minimum for 2 oscars is 125.

I was thinking of using rocks like this to make caves and such. I would silicone them together so the Oscar could not move the one large cave I am going to have in there for him.
here is a really pretty/natural/simple one that caught my eye

I hope some of these pics help and have fun with your new oscar
I want one, but my parents think I have too many tanks ( which I don’t lol )
EDIT-
I think you are right, I have always heard 55 gallons for one oscar!
