55 Gallon Fish Tank Lights
Can someone help me setting up my discus fish tank?
ok, i just bought a used 55 gallon fish tank, and plan to get about 6 discus fishes.
but first i want to plant some suitable live plants in the tank, if someone have experienced this please
provide a list of live plants which can go with my discuses, and what temperature is suitable for both fishes and plants. and what kind of light can i use. btw i live in seattle, where can i get this plants?

Discus like warm acidic water. I keep all sorts of plants in with mine. I keep my pH at about 6 and my temp at about 84. I have swords, ferns, lily pad, etc in my tank and they seem to tolerate the water parameters I have set for my discs just fine.
