2005 Honda Accord LX 4 cyl. automatic GAS TANK!?
Hello, ok, i searched the internet and it says that my honda accord has a 17.1 gallon fuel tank. Well, yesterday, my refuel gas light came on and I immediately pulled over to refuel. I pumped it up to 12.8 gallons gas started to spill out of the tank so I stopped.
So does that mean I still have over 4 gallons of gas left in my tank when the refuel light comes on? 4 gallons, that’s another 112 highway miles that I can still travel with the light on correct? (although i won’t do it).
One would think; however, I drive a ‘03 Civic and has driven pretty far with the gas light. The most I’ve ever filled up was 11.2 and the Civic spec for the tank is 13+.
Go figure.
