Breeder Trap Baby

My best breeding female is having problems giving birth………. help?

hi my female gave birth and about a month later (yesterday) she was sooooo fat i put her in a breeding trap so i left her there alll night and todaY when i came back from skool there was 1 baby a couple of hours later (now) and there is still only 1 baby. i bought a tank divider so the mum is in the breeders trap and the baby is in the separated part of the tank

so my question is will i see any more babys and by the way she is realy skinny now and also she is old so could that be it.

what fish is this? a live bearer obiously but knowing which exactly would of helped a little

This has happened before with my guppy, she was HUGE and i mean literalyl looking like she was going to burst, i put her in a box, went work came back and only had 3 fry and it looked like her stomach had caved in :S

I raised the tamp a few degrees and another 3 poped out during the night but other than that I didnt get anymore :S

I kept her in a few days long and did a 20% water change everyday to see if that would stimulate anything but it didnt

then 2 weeks later she died

so im unsure exactly what it could be :S maybe a parasite or maybe a blockage in the birth canal?

just cross your fingers and hope for the best mate sure it will all be fine
