Storage, Storage, Storage For You Double Stroller
Did you ever set out for the day with you children in their double stroller with the diaper bag slung over your left shoulder, your purse hooked on your right shoulder, the snack bag hanging from you left elbow, and a backpack hanging from your right wrist with extra clothes? Face it, you are a mommy, not a juggler. There are plenty of storage accessories you can add to you double stroller to keep you hands and arms free of clutter.
Holders
One of the many options available to increase storage space on your double stroller is a simple hook and loop. The loop attaches to the handlebar of the stroller and the hook hangs down. You can attach your purse, diaper bag and any other item with straps to these hooks.
Another convenient item is the cup holder. There are many types of cup holders available. Some attach closer to you and are made to hold your water bottle or soda. There are also some cup holders that will attach closer to your children and are the perfect size to hold their sippy cups. There are also insulated cup holders to keep beverages hot and cold.
Clips
Bottle clips are another version of the cup holder. The strap loops around the double stroller and the other end clips onto the bottle. That way if the baby decides to throw the bottle away it will not go far.
Bags
There are many storage bags available that will attach directly to your double stroller.
The mesh bags currently available usually attach to the back of the stroller. As the mesh is flexible, it will stretch to accommodate just about any load.
There are also storage bags made for toddlers to access. They attach on either side of the double stroller. This way the child is able to reach for items without mom or dad having to stop the stroller to get what is needed. These little bags can be divided to provide separate pockets for different items or remain as one bigger bag for larger items.
Many companies make simple storage bags similar in look to back packs or diaper bags. They are modified to provide easy attachment to a double stroller. In addition many of these bags are water proof and easy to clean.
Diaper bags now come with clips so they can be attached to the double stroller. These bags are also designed to act as backpacks or to sit behind the child’s seat in the storage area.
The binkie bag attaches to the double stroller and contains pacifiers for the children. No longer will Mom or Dad have to search frantically for a pacifier to calm an upset baby.
Organizers
There are many bags available to attach to your double stroller with compartments made for specific items.
The diaper bag companion is a small version of the diaper bag that can be used for a short trip such as going to the grocery store or the doctor’s office. It has compartments that hold a diaper and the diaper wipes as well as a changing pad and space for a change of clothes. It is easy to attach to the stroller and easy to keep clean.
There is another organizer available to hold your keys, cell phone, wallet and even a drink holder. This organizer attaches between the handlebars of the double stroller for easy access.
Finally there are organizers that combine both baby and adult needs with compartments for keys and cell phones as well as baby wipes and bottles.
