Can I put these fish in my aquarium?

Hello! I have these things in my aquarium, and I was wondering if I could put these fish in with my aquarium. Angelfish, Zebra Pleco, Jack Dempsey Chichlid. My Aquarium is a 30 gallon freshwater.

- 1 Mystery Snail

- 6 Zebra Danios

- 2 Guppies

- 2 Dwarf Gouramis

- 3 Albino Cory

- 3 Sterbai Corys

Oh, and please tell me if you think that my aquarium would be good! It’s a 30 gallon. ***Recommend any other fish too!***

An angelfish and a jack dempsey are not suitable for such a small tank, let alone they are not compatible. Angelfish are less aggressive than jack dempsey’s and cichlids should only be mixed if they are of the same temperament. Angelfish also prefer being in schools of at least four, I wouldn’t recommend anything under a 60g for a school of four of them.

A jack dempsey cichlid needs a minimum of 100g. They are messy fish that are aggressive and grow very large.

Two female dwarf gourami’s would be suitable for your tank along with the six corydora catfish as they will shoal together. You may add either the six danios or three guppies as they thrive in groups, not both as the tank is not large enough.

It’s not about making sure that your aquarium is fully packed with all kinds of fish, it’s about whether you have too much of a bioload or not, which you do.
