External Cannister
how do i use a external cannister filter that doesnt have a pump button?
for example the one im trying to work is the via aqua professional. its quite old and ive truned it on, but it has no button like my otheres where you can press and the hoses start working. i cant get the hoses to flow on this thing, any ideas on how to work this thing?
none of your suggestions worked, so i took apart the filter and looked at the propellor, and the plastic part above the magnet is broken on one side and has come off. is this a possible reason why it doesnt work.?
The hoses have a shut off valves?? if there are, shut them both off, filled the hoses and Cannister with tank water, trun on the power that open both valves, it should start to works, if no valves, just make sure the cannister is filled with tanks water, that filled both hoses up that power up, should start to work. If still not working check ur impeller and motor. 1 of them can be bruned out!
