Why in Videos of Tanks w/ Live Rock?
I’ve noticed that in videos of people’s tank w/ live rock, the live rock looks sort of grey or brown, and doesn’t look that nice. Is all live rock like that? I’m gunna get 45lbs Fiji Premium Live Rock, and I was wondering if they’re all like that. (Marine Tanks)
there are many forms of live rock and some can be uncured and others are cured.
when they are purple and full of life then it is cured. grey rocks are often base rocks and uncured rock.
when u recieve rock from the mail, you will have some to alot of die off as they dont ship the rock in water, just wet newspaper. So you will have some grey on the rock, but add it to a tank and under power llighting, it should be ok.
