Fish Tank Games Breeding
Marine Breeder question?
I want to start breeding saltwater fish. I have a healthy Reef Tank thats been established for almost a year. I still have many of my original fish as well. Also i have dabbled in breeding guppies and rosy reds, but i want to step up my game and breed some sort of Reef Tank fish. I was wondering which fish would be a good beginners breeding choice, also what kinds of things should i look out for when breeding?

most saltwater fish can be exceptionally challenging to breed, however, there have been success stories with ocellaris clownfish, bangai cardinalfish and pyjama cardinalfish. it will probably be best to start with one of those.
only 2% of the marine stock available for sale is ever captive bred, so once you’ve mastered easier fish, one more breeder for more popular, but usually wild caught, marine fish would be awesome! and be putting something back into the hobby that doesn’t destroy wild reef.
