Fish Tank Manufacturers
Suddenly all my fish are dyeing?
i have a 75ltr tank, containing 2 guppies, sum cardinal tetras, some glow light tetras, sum minows. Anyway they have been fine and healthy until i bought a new filter. most of the fish have died since i put the filter in. I contacted the manufacturers but they said they have never had this complaint before and they sell 100’s of them. just wondering what else could have caused this? the fish went from colourfull to really washed out, some of their fins jagged. This is all in a matter of 1 day. since i put the filter in. Never had any problems before. Thanks. please help
Ps there are only a few of them left, most have died already, the remaining are showing signs they wont live much longer. either sank to the bottom with rapid breathing or floating upside down.
Perhaps by replacing the filter, you got rid of some beneficial bacteria and ammonia or nitrite levels are up. Have you tested for that since they started dying?
