I NEED HELP WITH A FISH TANK!?

hello i have 2 oscars, one about 4 inches and the other about 3 both in a 29 gallon.. and i know they need a larger tank soon so i was wondering what size tank would be safe enough even if i wanted to maybe add a pleco or another oscar. AND IT NEEDS TO BE CHEAP! not the 800 dollar one i find.. or could i possibly make my own? and if i did make my own huge fish tank how big would it need to be and an average price????

Unless you can find a large second hand tank on craigslist, you are out of luck with it being cheap. If you are going for a new tank, the larger the tank, the most it will cost. It’s that plain and simple.

For two adult oscars you need a 175 gallon tank.
To be able to add one more, you’d need around a 250 gallon tank.
To be able to also add a common pleco, you’d need around a 350 gallon tank.

I once saw a second hand 250g on craigslist for $500. So.. As I said, cheap, may not be an option if this is what you want to do.

But at least rehome the two you have. They grow at a fast rate.. About an inch a month. They will soon outgrow that tank, or space and territory will become an issue.
