Is this marine protein skimmer any good for a reef/fish tank?

I am familiar with that skimmer. For some reason the ebay seller isn’t mentioning the name of the skimmer. It looks exactly like the new Sera Protein Skimmer. This is a TINY little skimmer. You didn’t mention what size your tank is. I would not use this skimmer on ANY tank larger than 10 gallons.
If your tank is 10 gallons or less, then this skimmer actually has a little punch to it. For the price it is better than nothing. Be aware, this skimmer must be placed inside your tank. It cannot hang on the outside of it. Since the recommended tank size is 10 gallons or less, placing this skimmer inside your tank it will take up valuable space.
