Food Kent Marine

I love my betta, I need help please!?
I own a plastic bowl for my betta and I am considering getting it a real home. i am only 16 yrs old and I dont have much money.
Bowl:
I know that ur gonna show me big bowls. if you can find one that is affordable great! But if not show me small ones. I put my betta on my desk so it needs to be something that would look normal.
I am considering this one: http://www.petco.com/Shop/Product.aspx?sku=1275127
Food:
I have been feeding my betta one a day 7 days a week at 4oclock pm. here is the brand i use. is it good bad? am i feeding too much or too little?

And lastly i use this and i add about 8 drops after i clean the bowl and change the water (which is like every 3 weeks)

Is there anything else i should get for my betta. i have one silk plant, some gravel,
You might as well keep the fish in the bowl, a 3 litre tank is hardly big enough and I wouldn’t consider keeping any fish in such a container. Something like this is what I would call a ’suitable’ home for a single Betta: http://www.petco.com/product/12788/Marineland-Eclipse-Hex-5-Fully-Integrated-Aquarium-Kit.aspx
I would recommend altering your maintenance regime so that it consists of 10-25% weekly water changes, rather than total strip-downs every three weeks. Constantly stripping down the aquarium will do more harm than good.
The tank does not come with any form of heating however, so you will need to add a heater to the list. A 25w heater with an integrated thermostat should cost around $20-30. You will also need a test kit (approx $20), a gravel siphon (approx $10) and two buckets (approx $5-10). Fishkeeping is hardly a cheap hobby however skimping on essential equipment is a bad idea and usually creates problems later on, which entails more expense.
