Glass Fish Tank Covers
10 gallon fish tank question?
I have a 10 gallon fish tank with zebra danio, 2 rocks, 1 live plant, and 1fake plant. I had just noticed recently that theirs some brown substance on the inside of the tanks glass. It’s also covering my live plant and I don’t know what it is or what I should do about It? Help?
this is common brown algae. if you have your tank near a window,then you will always have an algae problem due the excess light.
to get rid of it, scrape it from the sides with an algae scrubber and add an algae killer when you do water changes. just be sure you get an algae killer that is safe for live plants, as some aren’t.
you can even take the live plant out and gently rinse the algae off of it.
