I live in a one bedroom apartment. I wanted to have fish as pet.?
I wanted to know if it is safe to do so. Meaning the fish will survive in home atmosphere with the AC on and off and in winters with heaters on. and also hope my home wont stink fish. If not then which other way can I have it. anyone having fish in a similiar way pls answer.
They should be fine.
Fish should NEVER stink. For fish to smell that means their water is packed with ammonia. Essentially they are swimming in urine. I have a 75 gallon with goldfish, 55 gallon with Cichlids, 39 with angels and a 15 and 10 with rescues. All of these are in an apartment and they never smell.
Do some research before you buy anything. Find a fish you really like and learn how to house it and take care of it. Then decide if you want to make that kind of financial investment and time commitment.
