hole in bottom of ear:|???!?!?!?!?
i wear spacers in my ears, the sprial kind. i felt discomfort in my ear today and it seemed swollen, so i went to take the spacer out when i went home and i could get it half out and then it started to hurt a lot, i pulled it through the rest of the way and i saw a little bit of blood. once i got it out i realized it was through ANOTHER part of my ear right at the bottom, i carefully went to pull it through so i could get it unlatched from my ear but the piece ripped, it was red hard and crusty, and i seem to have a a small hole in the bottom of my ear, it keeps bleeding. my spacer was a bit tight on that ear but i am unaware what cause this…
do you have any ideas what caused this? or what to do now? i have some gauze on it now..should i keep it on at school tomorrow? its very painful and keeps bleeding, crusts up but if i touch it it starts to bleed again
Perhaps you caught it while you were sleeping, or you simply had it too tight.
You should spray some antiseptic on it if you have it, clean the area and put in a safer earring.
Go to the doctor as soon as you can, it’s not worth the risk of it getting worse and they’ll tell you what it is. =]
I’m also having problems with my ear piercing, but for different reasons.
