Cracked fish tank repair?
I have a 33gallon long tank. Dimensions are 48×12x12. I purchased the tank from a store that was going out of business and the one end are drilled for their sump system. I was installing new bulkheads and I made to rookie mistake of over tightening which, as you may guess, cracked the glass between the bulkhead holes. The crack is about four inches long between the two holes. My question is, can I us some silicone to go over the crack then use some plexi-glass plates on the inside and outside of the tank to reinforce the tank side so that I can still use the tank?
