Led Fish Tank Bubbler
Big Fish Question? I don’t want it to die! Urgent!?
I just got a goldfish, and im so worried and paranoid that it will die. My tank has a bubbler for oxygen, a cover (the works). It even has an LED light built in. Which got me thinking, do i need to use it? I don’t want to leave it on all day, way to much electricity. I’ve also read that fish need a distinction between day and night to be healthy, and that it shouldn’t have light at night when its resting/sleeping. Then in the morning i should turn the light on.
which leads me to my question…why do i need to turn the light on if its daytime, when light will fill my room anyway? Will my fish become unhealthy without the LED light? Or is the light only used if your fish is in a dark area of your house?

no need to turn the light on as long as light is getting into the room. I only use lights on my tanks that have live plants. the light that comes in a the windows lights up my room enough for the rest.
however, you don’t mention a filter… you do have a filter, right? goldfish get large and are VERY messy. you need a large tank and good filter (gph = 10x the tank size)
