The translation was by me. As a mater of fact, the original text is poetic, so I translated it to Japanese keeping the poetic style.
I have to apologize to you if you needed the literal translation. Any way let me explain about the previous translation.
The four lines from top are not completed; each of these is connected to the fifth line which is corresponding to “I’m not supposed to”.
The fifth line, Omoimo tsukanakatta watashi, means “I never thought that “or I’ve been unexpected of”. But actual form of it was “ I who have been unable to guessed”; an anastrophe form ending I.
This part can be replaced by “ Omoimo yoranakatta watashi,” or “ Son-na hazu ja nakatta watashi,” also. These two are better than the previous.
As for third lines;
“Anata ni ite hoshii to nozomu” is correspons to “ I wish you were (there)”.
“nagara” is “ keeping some states or actions”
“live my life” was translated as “ to live”.
As for “ I can’t help myself”, it’s literal way is “ watashi wa gaman dekinai”. But I adopted the anastrophe and softened words.
AS for “ai” , it is a similar noun to “koi”. And when you use “ai”, it would be a form of verb;
“anata wo ai-shite shimatta no yo”
“koi wo suru” sounds much poetic Japanese.

is better than the previous, I think.
