Multiple Fish Tank Filtration

What’s the best way to move cross-country (2 days’ travel) with fish?

We have five tanks full (two 10-gals, two 29-gals, and a 50-gal). I really don’t want to get rid of them and start all over again… they’re my little friends, after all! Will they do okay in multiple 5-gal buckets for two days in mild weather, or do I need to figure out some sort of heating & filtration system to put into each bucket?

Depends on the type of fish you have. I would recommend getting a dc converter and putting at least an airstone in each container for oxygen. I have done this before where we used the lids to secure the water down and then drilled a hole in the top center to put the airtube through, get 1 or 2 of your biggest airpumps and use the tree distributor to disburse an airstone to each.
