Nano Reef Tank Nitrates

not sure what to do here…?
i set up my 20g nano reef 2 days ago. i used a bag of live sand that sand it “instantly” cycles your tank. i tested the water yesterday and the ammonia was just over 0 ppm. no nitrite or nitrate. should i add my cleanup crew yet or wait awhile longer?
when did i ever say anything about clownfish…
You won’t know if your tank is cycled until organic matter is added, makes mess, and only then will it depend on whether it is truly cycled or not as to how it deals with an ammonia-producing source. I never fully trust something that claims to “instantly” cycle anything, especially something that’s come from a bag or bottle. The bacteria you need in a tank to keep it cycled has a very short life span when it’s not provided with food and oxygen!
I would personally choose to fishless/critterless cycle the tank anyway. If there is good bacteria in the sand, it should only take a week or two to establish itself anyway, then you can get on with the cleanup crew etc.
