Operated Air Pump
I need a 3″ electric air pump for my airbed?
I have an old, battery operated Intex one. I now have 2 mattresses with 3″ openings but can’t seem to find an electric pump to fit it. Please help.
Sounds like you may have opening the wrong valve when trying to inflate the air mattress.
Is there a section in the center of the cap you unscrewed that also unscrews? It would be a much smaller opening, normally has a strap attached to it that keeps you from losing the cap when you remove it. One end is attached to the cap, the other to the base of the valve that is attached to the mattress.
I have yet to see a large sized air mattress that does not have this configuration.
