Question about hair clippers?
I have been using hair clippers for a while now, but I’m wondering if I’m using them properly as my recent cuts have seemed a bit uneven (you can tell that I did it myself). The clippers came with instructions, but it doesn’t cover what I want to know. It came with 4 plastic length combs. The clippers themselves have an adjustable tapper level which supposedly is used when you don’t want to use the combs. What I want to know is, for example, if I’m using a #2 comb should the tapper level remain at the shortest position or should that be adjusted according to whatever comb length is currently attached? If I’m using the comb attachments should the tapper level even be touched at all?
Also, if I’m not using the comb attachments, does that affect how much hair is cut? Sometimes I’ll take the comb off to clean the sides or my hair, but I feel like it cuts shorter than if I leave a #1 comb on.
