how to aquascape a tank a saltwater Reef Tank?

Put your live rock in first, so it rests directly on the glass bottom. The last thing you want is for the rock to sit on the sand, making it easy for burrowers to shift it, causing collapses. Next, start scooping in the substrate of your choice (usually a combination of coral or aragonite sand and coarser crushed coral) so that the entire bottom is covered, and the rocks are packed in with sand. You can go ahead and begin to gently add water at this point, so as not to disturb the sand too much. And there you go– it’s scaped. As for adding corals and such, you really need to research the individual species, as each has different requirements for light intensity and current– these must be taken into consideration and catered to for you to have any success in keeping them healthy.
