Reef Tank Bubbles

how do i get rid of slime algae in my Reef Tank?
i recently got an infestation of red and black/dark purple slime algae. I know this because the algae traps gas bubbles from floating upwards. iv’e tried vacuuming the sand, water changes, and lighting times. nothing worked. I am really working hard on growing coralline algae and don’t want to kill my only colony or my corals. any suggestions? my heater is set to 80 degrees due to a recent ich attack. maybe a change in temp. will fix the problem?
if this tank is under a year old it’s pretty natural, yes you do need to be sure that all water going in your tank is ro/di, if that is the case buy a cheep little $45.00 media reactor and fill a quarter to a third with GFO ( granular ferric oxide) brand names are phosban or phosguard, in a month the cyanobacteria (your red slime) will dissipate all on its own
if you have livestock in your tank DO NOT scrub and rinse under tap water
