what kind of time cycle should i have my Reef Tank on?the lights that is.?

29 gallon bio cube stock. nothing in it yet just sand and salt

10-12 hours a day. more and there is too mich algea growth and ull have to clean it alllootttt! less, well a lot of light isnt NESSESARY, but it makes em live, longer, heaithier, and brings out there natural color brighter in anatural way. vote me best answer pleaaassseeeee. i love fishies.
