Reef Tank High Nitrates

coral reef guide for idiots?
hi i have a 180L marine tant with 4 seahorses, 2 clown fish, a manderin, a claener wrass, 2 cleaner shrimps, a peppermint shrimp, a gobie with a few hermit crabs and some turbo sniails. i have a good protien skimmer and T5 lighting but i havent had much luck with corals. i have recently found my nitrates to be high but over the last 2 days i have done 80% altogether water change and now nitrates are around 10-15 mpl. im going to leave it today and do another 30% tomorow but is there anyting else i need for a Reef Tank? im only keeping soft soft corals at the moment as the hard corals wil sting the stupid seahorses so i dont think i need a calcium reactor
i am adding marine snow for food and i am not adding anthing else to the water. the water from my tap produces high phosphates. but my local pet shop said that dosent matter too much. no the seahorese are fine with the nemos, all u need to worrie about is other fish compeating for food just make sure they get there fair share.
Are your wrasse reef safe? only some are. then are you adding the calcium and reef essentials or testing for phosphates?
