Reef Tank How Much Flow

New Reef Tank- how much flow ?

I setting up a new 75 gal reef, I have a mag 18 for my sump pump. Is this enough water flow for a Reef Tank with all kind of coral?

Thats about 24 times tank turnover before loses from height and plumbing, after all that it most likely drops down to about 18 times turn over, which is very low for acropora coral. Acropora coral will like more like 40 times tank turnover in flow. I would not recommend running all that flow through a sump anyway. You want low flow thru the sump and to get flow to the tank use a closed loop or pumps like koralias or tunze. You want to match the flow through your sump to the gallons per hour your skimmer requires.
