Reef Tanks cycling question…?

I have been cycling my 12G tank for almost a month now. i have been cycling with used filter material as well as live sand and rock. i havent been keeping up with water tests. so i dont know what has rasied and declined (ammonia, nitrite, and nitrate. as of today, i tested my water and found the ammonia level at 0.2, nitrite at 0, and nitrate at 10ppm. is this an indication of my tank being cycled to completion because the nitrate is higher than the ammonia?

Do you have any polluters in there? How did you initially begin the cycle? The live sand, rock, and filter material hold the good bacteria that breaks down the waste of the fish that creates the ammonia in the first place. Do you have fish in there? Otherwise the tank will “short cycle” everything will look good, and then when you put some fish in, the ammonia will spike and kick everything out of wack.
