how are my parameters?

i like doing a weekly view of my parameters becasue i clumsly forget which is worce to have my ammonia is 0.25 im pissed because i do alot of water changes is that bad since it isnt 0
my nitrite is 0 my nitrate is bettween 10 and 20!!!!!!WTF wow so hows that for my saltwater Reef Tank i mean the fish are fine but will a 20 percent water change help i just di 10
Oh yeaqh its been up for 3 months the tank i did a 3 week dry run with just salt water then got live rock and live sand then mushrooms then fish thenpolyps this was 3 days ago i got the polyps and its been 2 months with the lr and ls and its a pc light

Have you totally cycled your aquarium?

How long has your tank been set up and what are the filters?

Do you have live rock?
If so it is important that this live rock is seasoned and been in a healthy tank at your LFS at least 3 weeks (more is better), otherwise this can have the opposite effect on ammonia/nitrite removal as well as nitrates too.

EDIT:
I agree with finatic that a nitrate level under 20 is good, however to make a good diagnosis we need more parameters and the age, set up, and other methodologies of your aquarium to make a clear statement of your aquariums health.
