starting a saltwater aquarium?

im buying this aquarium

taking into consideration all that it has what else will i have to do to actually start the process

any links would greatly help i know the process will be long and i wont mind one bit as long as its ready by my BD which is in july

would sand or gravel be good

i do want the whole anemone in there live plants and ovbiosly fish

any help would greatly be appreciative thanks in advance

i only have experience with freshwater and thats only with my30 gallon tank my dads friend gave me a 55gal tank and i want to make that one into a freshwater one so i will have two projects to work with yey keep me busy for a while

Before buying a tank I would recommend buying a very good book on salt water tanks, and learning this information yourself. If you can get interested enough to do this,,,and find out what you need to do on your own, then you will be a good hobbiest….( some difficult questions would be ok) but to say “what do I need to do”…means you don’t know enough to do this yet….so in other words the thing that is missing from this combo kit, is you having the knowlege and knowhow to do it right…this is the most important thing, and you can’t learn it on yahoo.questions….we can help around the edges…but do yourself a favor and make sure you are interested in learning. You need to have a strong working knowlege of reef/fish/and general salt water chemestry before buying and putting animals lives on the line.
