car not starting repost with make and model?
ok yea so i thought it was the distributor and then some of u posted that it could be the fuel pump. its not the pump its brand new and its not the filter cuz i redid the gas tank and lines…..wen i try to statr it, it cranks then someimtes white smoke comes out of the carb so it has to be sumthing with the distributor or the wires like that one guy sed right? its gitting enough gas to the carb cuz wen i prime the carb it still doesnt want to fire up

it was running perfectly, the tranny was redoe like 3 times cuz th engine is to strong so he fixed it and sold it and then i fixed it an it was roaring hella loud got the cops called on me then wen i was running it one day i let it warm up for about 20 minutes then boom…dead
if you have exhaust coming out the carburator it is the timing or the timing chain is bad ……….. try re setting the distributor check if #1 cyclinder is top dead center and check if the distributor rotor is on the #1 plug wire if not the bistributor is off or the timing chain jumped
