Small Fish Tank Bubbler

any ideas what i should do with my fish tank with the decoration?

ok.
well about 3 monthes ago i set up an african cichlid tank.
right now i have 2 filters going.
an air bubbler
2 small plants [ not real ]
and this ornament in the middle that is pretty big.
the thing is
when i took a look at other peoples cichlid tanks,
they have any more caves and places for the fish to hide.
but for mine they just go behind the ornament and you can never see them.
is there a way i can get them to come out
but then
make other places they can hide where i can still see them?
[the ornament is pushed back as for as possible]
and if it makes a diff. its a 20 galon tank with 6 african cichlids
and 2 algae eaters.
any ideas?

Try lots of fake plants with long, thin, broad leaves. This will allow the cichlids to feel covered, but you should still be able to see them in the foliage. Also I have heard african cichlids are very aggressive and become very territorial as they get older, you might need to have a few caves for the weaker ones to hide.
