What to put in my 20gal fish tank? Looking for schooling fish and Color!!?

I had this tank up and running for about 5 months before i left for college and couldn’t take it. now I have my own place and want to get it up and running again. Its a 20gal tank and I have a hollowed out log, 3 fake tall plants and a tall hollow coral reef (5inches wide and about 12 inches tall) as decoration. I love tetras and want to find another good schooling fish. I am hoping for this set-up. any Ideas? or modifications? I want alot of color!!! thanks in advance!

1 angel
6 neon tetra
3 cory cats
and either
5 bright killifish
OR
4-5 discus.

Thoughts? any other (mayber better) algae eaters? small of course!

Rule is one fish per gallon. 20 gal tank is kinda small .

angels get big, fins get eaten by others.

Discus get large..

cory cats do not get till your tank has been established for about 6 months.

** black rock and 20 neon tetras would be cool.
