Eheim Jager heaters vs. Visi therm stealth heater?
I just bought a Eheim Jager heater and it sucks! The knob you have to pull for adjustment doesn’t hardly move. I had to use a butter knife to pry it up. I set the temp at 75 and the temp of the water reached 78.5. When i press down on the adjustment button the light turns off for a bit and then turns back on and continues to climb above the setting on the heater. I can’t take it back tonight because the LFS is closed. What should i do? Tomorrow i think i will return for a visi therm stealth. Any comments on this heater?
My visi-therm stealth heaters work great–I’ve got three of them. One for my 5 gallon, one for my ten gallon, and one for my twenty gallon. They’re easy to adjust and fully submersible. I’d recommend them.
