Tropical Fish Tank Bacteria

tropical fish tank bacteria
Does temperature flucuation kill the bacteria in a tropical fish tank?

For example if you do a 75% water change, will it kill the bacteria causing the tank to repeat its cycle?

I was planning to get some bacteria from my OUTDOOR GOLDFISH POND FILTER and place it into my new tank which is taking ages to cycle. My pond has been established for 1.5 years now. (planning on using the filter media like the sponges, lava rock or filter wool)

Will this work or will it just be just like putting a goldfish into a pot of boiling water and hoping it will survive?

My indoor fish tank temperature is 28 C and my
pond’ s temperature is probably 10 C.
Its for a discus tank so temperature any lower than 26 will cause the discus to catch infections.

28c is too high a temperature-24-26c is better. yes you can use filter media from your pond-just put it in a fish bag and let it adjust gradually to the temperature of your tank. also 50% is the largest water change you should ever do and thats only if there are fish in it that are in distress from high ammonia or nitrite-big water changes slow down your tanks cycling.
