Tropical Fish Tank Dividers

Should I do this?
My betta fish is laying at the bottom of the bowl, she is a new fish and for the first 3 days I got her she was active swimming around, blowing at the other fish in the bowl next to her.
I wonder if she is cold. Her water feels very cold, for a tropical fish. I was wondering if I should get a 10 gallon tank with a water heater? Of course I’ll use a divider and place the other betta in with her.
Do you think I shoud get a 10 gallon with a heater? So that she stays warm?
Why do you think she is laying at the bottom, her water is clean, and I feed her well.
Go get that 10 gallon tank and a heater. Bettas are tropical fish and will thrive at temps between 76-82 ish. Plus she will love having all that room to cruise…
I’ve got two Bettas in a 29 gallon and they check out every inch of the tank, just in case somebody left a spot of food somewhere. I watch them exploring the whole tank and cringe at the thought of the bettas at the stores in the teeny tiny cups, in an inch of water.
The 10 gallon will be easier to maintain – only weekly water changes.
