LTD Watches – Arrived in 2009 with a Bang!
LTD watches have certainly created a stir in the watch style world during 2009! Having only launched in the same year, as the name suggests, the brand is all about creating a collection of limited edition style watches available in small quantities. Only 100-150 models in each style is made around the world and thus this has made them highly exclusive and sought after and seen adorning the wrists of many celebrities.
LTD Watches – Exclusive yet Affordable
The factor that makes LTD watches unique aside from their cool and funky style, is that each watch retails between £49 and £79 which makes them accessible to most budgets. The exclusivity is reflected in the fact that once a style has sold out, it is gone which is a great way to go about raising the brand status and allowing the products to be accessible to their target audience from a price perspective. The low levels of production also mean that LTD watches will soon become collector’s items.
LTD Watches – The Eye-Popping Style
2009 was all about colour which is set to continue into 2010 even throughout the winter months. LTD watches are so popular because they provide that instant quick fix trend appeal with their vibrant colour tones. The designs of the watches are fun and simple and focus on colour which is always the striking feature. LTD watches typically feature a stainless steel case, polycarbonate bracelet straps and a round dial. In many of the new styles, vibrant colours including yellow, pink, orange, black, white, blue and green to name only a few have been combined together to create a real statement watch that injects current style into your look. Some of the LTD watches also have a neon colour effect and some use cool contrasting colours in the dial and the strap such as turquoise and yellow. These are perfect to jazz up a winter look as and add an effective burst of colour to muted tones.
LTD Watches – Exclusive Range by Boy Band JLS
During the latter part of 2009, LTD watches launched a new range of watches designed and worn by X Factor stars boy band JLS. The watches are called LTD vs JLS and there are 5 main colour variations to choose from – green, white, red, yellow and black and the designs all feature a polycarbonate bracelet strap and funky dial with the JLS logo and pops of colour to mark the minutes.
LTD Watches – A Bit of Sparkle!
Some of the latest LTD watches also capture that element of bling trend appeal with the round dials being embellished in diamante jewels for that added bling factor and incorporate cool dial designs such as skulls which makes for an edgier version of the typical LTD watch. Other new styles to look out for include versions which glow in the dark. Despite their relatively low price tag, LTD watches are still great quality and are designed to be durable, functional and of course, reliable.
